About this blog
Hello, and welcome to my blog.
I am an independent mobile app developer interested in building and publishing mobile applications with React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
This blog documents what I learn and experience while developing real-world mobile applications. I write about development techniques, debugging, architecture, UI implementation, third-party libraries, app publishing, and problems I encounter during the development process.
Rather than simply introducing programming concepts, I try to document the actual process behind building applications — including things that did not work as expected, problems I encountered, how I investigated them, and how I eventually solved them.
My background is in mechanical engineering, and I have experience working on engineering development projects, including tractor transmission design and development. My transition from mechanical engineering to software development is also part of what led me to start this blog.
Some of the applications I have developed include K-PopRama Slang, a Korean slang dictionary app for K-Pop and K-Dramas, K-Pop Celeb Like Me, a K-Pop celebrity look-alike application, and K-Pop Sudoku.
Through this blog, I hope to share practical knowledge and real development experiences that may be useful to other developers who are building their own applications.
